Where the numbers come from

Financial statements are read from the filings companies submit to NSE and BSE (XBRL where available, otherwise PDF extraction with arithmetic checks). Prices are end-of-day files published by NSE and BSE, shown with the trading date they belong to; nothing here is a live or delayed quote. Metrics are computed by the published formulas on the Metrics page. Companies restate, filers make unit and typing mistakes, and extraction can be wrong: we withhold figures that fail our checks, but errors can remain. Check the source filing before relying on a figure.

Delays and gaps

Data is refreshed once a day, after the market closes. Prices are not live. Some companies have no statements yet, and history before 2025 is incomplete for many.

Custom formulas

Public formulas are written by users. We check that they are valid, not that they are sensible. “Featured” means a person chose to highlight it, not that it predicts returns.

Your data

We keep your email and what you save (watchlists, screens, formulas, alerts, portfolios). You can download or delete all of it from the Account page. Alert emails can be turned off at any time.
